This stunning Victorian-era Snake pendant is an eternal love token dating 1880 or slightly earlier.

Handcrafted of solid 9ct gold, tested.

Surprisingly beautiful, comprising the snakehead holding a suspended heart as in the tradition of the Victorian era, full of symbolic meanings, a perfect love token.

The snakehead is marvellous, set with an abundance of natural opals full of colour flashes, perfectly set into an antique pave’ set version, with eyes highlighted by natural Rubies of vibrant red.

Heart is centred by a heart-shaped cabochon cut opal of 6.5 x 6 mm.

Pendant is 53 mm x 16 mm.

Stunning when worn.
