A rare late 19th century ruby and diamond necklace/bracelet in yellow gold, Circa 1890’s.
The alternating bezel set five big oval cabochon-cut rubies and six old European cut diamonds are set to gold chain links with a solid yet flexible design. The dual-purpose jewel can be worn as a bracelet or, with the attached chain addition, as a necklace – with a clasp and lock system for additional security while wearing.
Comes in the original antique box from a German court jeweller.
