Rare Antique Georgian Crowned Heart Diamond and Ruby Ring

Rare Antique Georgian Crowned Heart Diamond Ruby Ring

Emblematic in its modern incarnations, including tattoos and emoticons, the heart motif is never more powerful than when it appears in antique jewellery.
Stepping through the history of love tokens, the heart symbolizing love in friendship or marriage whilst the crown stands for fidelity or forever.

This very rare antique Georgian crowned heart diamond and ruby ring is even more desirable for its wearable pristine condition.
The setting and mounting are completely untouched and perfect, it is a survivor of the most exquisite early Georgian period. This extremely fine ring has been crafted of solid 18ct gold with silver over the diamond setting. A rare antique Rose Cut Diamond makes the heart of the ring, foiled back as are all the gemstones set on this rare ring.
Natural untreated rubies make the crown standing also for passion and blood.
Very nicely decorated throughout with lovely details in vogue during the early Georgian period.
Comes boxed adding even more meaning if for a gift to someone very special to your heart.
One of the most beautiful ever displayed!
