Vintage Lapis Lazuli and Sculptured Gold Signet Dress Ring

An impressive and unique gentleman's ring, masterfully sculptured from solid 18ct yellow gold. This Italian retro ring depicts ancient Greek Mythical Beasts of legendary creatures and features a stunning carving of an Eagle holding a Snake on one side whilst the other side features a Chimera/Griffin and a Snake. The highly detailed deep carving runs through the entire back shank, and holds a large central oval lapis lazuli. Circa 1950's.
