Rare 1870 ca Victorian necklace of understated elegance

Superbly handcrafted of solid 18ct gold – snake chain from which hang 21 celestial antique round cabochons - Sri Lanka origin - shimmering Moonstones with Blue reflections, glowing side by side in a beautiful line graduate in size from 4.6 mm. to 9.3 mm the largest – each individually set onto 18ct multi claws setting
Chain is 46 cm, looks elongated at the final points
