Victorian Etruscan Style Gold Necklace with Micromosaic Pendants

An antique, 19th century micromosaic and gold necklace. The Etruscan style snake link necklace is accented with white pearls on the decorated ornaments in between four double rows of chain, which suspends kite shaped micromosaic pendants. These pendants picture mythological figures, winged snakes, laurel wreaths and red bows on white backgrounds. Circa 1870.
