A pair of Drayson London vintage pair of ruby and diamond earrings in 18ct yellow gold and 900. platinum. Made in England, London, Circa 1940.

X-Ray tested as 18ct gold and 900. platinum.

The retail firm of Cecil Drayson was established circa 1936 on Bond Street by Keith Drayson. His Jewells were known for their high quality, innovative designs and extremely elegant nature.

Drayson initially derived influence from the Art Deco period. From the late 1930’s to the 1960’s, the designs became more abstract, exemplifying the bold sculptural tendencies of the period, jewels from the firm are rare.
