Vintage Chris Steenbergen Silver and Gold Ring

This vintage Chris Steenbergen silver and 14ct yellow gold ring from 1972 serves as a collectable piece of future antique jewellery. A rectangular dome conforms to the proportions of the entire ring surprises with a hidden gold inlet on the left and on the right side. Being an example of minimalistic abundance, this jewel is a wearable statement.

Extra information: Chris Steenbergen (1920-2007) is one of the few well know Dutch artist jewellers goldsmith silversmith in the second half of the 20th Century. Participated in many exhibitions in many countries and is mentioned in many books on contemporary jewellery art.

Hallmarks: Recognizable remains of the Dutch control mark representing a sword with the number 925 for silver 925 (Sterling silver). In use since 1955. And also recognizable remains of Chris Steenbergen’s master mark.
