A rare and unusual Art Deco ruby and diamond ring, the centre has been set with a cluster of pave set diamonds with a surround to the top and bottom of calibre cut rubies in an invisible setting. Mounted in 18ct yellow gold.

Two tones of precious metal, the main part being 18K yellow gold and the white parts are either white gold or platinum. (touchstone tested)

Nine single brilliant cut diamond (also called 8/8)with an estimated weight of ± 0.50ct colour and clarity G/J, si/i

Natural rubies and lab produced rubies were both used in this era, rather more for their effect than for their intrinsic value. with an estimated weight of ± 0.24ct
