Oscar Heyman Jewellery
Heyman, Oscar Heyman & Bros. American manufacturing jewellers founded by two highly skilled Latvian immigrants, Oscar & Nathan who arrived in America in 1906, Oscar worked for Cartier after arriving in America in 1909, and Nathan went on to acquire patents for a number of fittings.
The brothers opened their own workshop and produced fine quality pieces for companies such as Tiffany, Van Cleef, Cartier and Marcus & Co.
They were commissioned by Cartier to design and produce a setting for the extroirdinary diamond bought by Cartier and then sold to Actor Richard Burton that became known as the Taylor Burton diamond.
The firm continues today producing fine pieces under its own name.
