A striking diamond cluster ring in 18ct gold, the trap cut diamond centre is surrounded by twelve marquise cut diamonds to a split shoulders. A trap cut diamond is slightly different from an emerald cut because the corners have not been removed, the centre is estimated to weigh 0.45ct and the marquise cut diamonds a total of 0.55ct, all G/H colour and VS clarity. The metal tests as 18ct gold on both the head and shank of the ring.
