A fine quality vintage seventies sapphire and diamond 18ct white gold ring set with 33 sapphires weighing approx. 1.90ct, plus a further 52 brilliant cut diamonds of 0.26ct (approx.). The sapphires are unbelievably precisely polished fitting exactly in the ring. A real joy not only looking at their colour but also the way they were cut and set into the ring.

Condition: excellent condition

Period: ca. 1970

Material: 18ct white gold (touchstone tested)

Diamond(s): 52 brilliant cut diamonds with an estimated weight of 0.26ct. (colour and clarity: F/H, vs/si).

- All diamond weights, colour grades and clarity are approximate since stones are not removed from their mounts to preserve the integrity of the setting. Also, all diamonds have been screened by the IJGC - lab (www.ijgc-worldwide.com) for whether they are natural or synthetic, and all diamonds in this jewel are 100% guaranteed to be natural!

Treatment: most probably heat treated. Colour enhancement by heat treatment of ruby and sapphire is an accepted technique as long as it is mentioned by the seller.
