A gentleman's solid and stylish mid century 14ct yellow gold signet ring set with a large blue synthetic sapphire. Circa 1960's.

The ring is of Danish design and marked with the maker John Hans Jørgen Larsen (JoL) who operated in Copenhagen from 1957-1973.

The ring has a central, rub over set rectangular faceted synthetic sapphire of deep purplish, blue hue that is flat faced ideal for engraving an insignia or coat of arms.

• Dimensions: 20mm internal diameter
• Hallmark: Stamped ‘585’ for 14ct gold, and makers mark JoL (John Hans Jørgen Larsen - Copenhagen 1957 - 1973)
• Gross weight: 9.6 grams
• Condition: Excellent, showing very little signs of wear. All the gems are securely set and original to the ring. The gold work remains crisp and in good order.
