Vintage Italian Weingrill Pearl and Gold Spiral Long Chain Necklace

Mid 20th century long chain necklace by Weingrill. Fine and precise workmanship is evident in the 18ct yellow gold cord spiral links, which are inter-spaced by lustrous saltwater pearls.

  • Hallmarks: Weingrill stamp (15VR) & 18ct gold

Weingrill is credited with being the original manufacturer of some of the most recognizable gold jewellery designs; gold cuff bracelets for Tiffany & Co., the Trinity bangle bracelet for Cartier, and, most notably, Bvlgari’s tubogas necklaces, bracelets, and rings.
