Vintage Hermes 18ct Yellow Gold Bird Brooch with Ruby

A striking Hermes brooch in a whimsical bird design, crafted in 18ct yellow gold, beautifully carved and chiselled with realistic feathers. The body, wings, and tail are all in motion as if the bird is about to take flight. A single ruby eye adds a splash of colour and vitality.

Secured with a double pin and scrolled clasp fitting.

Comes in the original box.

Made in France, Paris, Circa 1960 - 1970's.
