A rare gold, diamond and gem set bird brooch by Sterlé. The gold textured wings are spread as if the bird is in flight. The body is carved out of citrine quartz suspending multi gold tassels above a gold and diamond set tail and back, circa 1965.

Pierre Sterlé, the renowned French jewellery designer, was especially known for his fabulous bird brooches.
