A pair of vintage French amethyst diamond and platinum earrings, topped with an oval, faceted amethyst bead, capped with a baguette diamond and round brilliant-cut and eight-cut diamond set leaves, suspending diamond set caps, in a flame design, with faceted pear shape amethyst drops. Mounted in platinum, with clip fittings. Circa 1960's.
Marked Bte SDGD, with French eagle marks, for the 18ct white gold fittings, and two dog head marks for the platinum mounts.
