Vintage Emerald Bead and Gold Necklace

An emerald bead and 18ct yellow gold necklace by Atelier Dix. The old mine emeralds have a beautiful strong green colour and are round and oval shaped beads. The necklace centre features five golden parts between the emeralds, with animal symbolism. This and the hammered gold work and texture in combination with the attractive green of the emeralds is probably inspired by an experience in the African savanna.
