Vintage Black Opal Pendant with Rubies and Diamonds

A late 20th century black opal double cluster pendant. The top oval cabochon-cut black opal is surrounded by rubies and an outer diamond border, suspending a matching pear shaped cabochon-cut black opal within ruby and diamond double cluster surround. Mounted in platinum.

Suspended on a delicate chain with pearl accents.

Made in Europe, Circa 1990’s

Oval black opal: 0.80 carat
Total opal weight: 4.30 carat total
Diamonds (73): approx. 0.79 carat total, F/G colour and VS1 clarity
Rubies (50): approx. 1.00 carat total

Hallmarked on clasp with 950. mark for platinum
