A magnificent pair of 4.93 carat old European cut diamond stud earrings set in 18 carat yellow gold. Each earring features a beautiful old cut diamond which is elegantly six claw set in an open back setting. The earrings are secured to reverse with a post and butterfly fitting. What makes these earrings so special is the size and cut! These are old cut diamonds meaning they were cut over 100 years ago by hand (as opposed to being machine cut). This technique means that although similar, no two old cut diamonds are ever the same, which adds to their character and charm! Each diamond has been assessed by a laboratory.
