Vintage 20cts No Heat Ceylon Sapphire and Diamond Cluster Earrings

A stunning pair of late 20th century sapphire and diamond earrings in platinum. The cushion shaped sapphires are of Ceylon origin, natural and not heat treated, and exhibit a classical Ceylon blue colour and have a stunning crystal with very minute eye visible inclusions. Both of these superb sapphires are surrounded by marquise and round brilliant cut diamonds of very fine quality. The earrings are beautifully designed as snowflakes and the craftsmanship is very fine. Mounted in platinum, with post and clip fittings. Circa 1970's.
