Vintage 1980's 2.17 Carat Sapphire and Diamond Dress Ring In Yellow Gold

A beautiful vintage 1980's 2.17 carat sapphire and diamond dress ring set in 18 carat yellow gold. The ring is composed in an iconic 80's design, set centrally with a blue sapphire. The sapphire is rub over set securely in yellow gold and is slightly raised amongst four rows of channel set diamonds. The diamonds travel half way across the finger which meet a solid but graduating 6-millimetre band. The piece could be worn by itself as a stand-alone piece, or alternatively stacked up amongst other pieces.
