Vintage 1940s Sapphire and Diamond Spray Earrings

A pair of late Art Deco sapphire, diamond and platinum earrings. Graduating oval faceted sapphires in claw settings and old-cut and eight-cut diamonds in grain settings are arranged in a stylised swirl, with a festoon of square calibré cut sapphires in channel settings and old-cut and eight-cut diamonds in grain settings. Mounted in platinum, with modern clip and post fittings. Circa 1940 fronts with later modern fittings.
