Vintage 17.00ct Sapphire and Diamond Bombe Cocktail Ring, Circa 1960s

A fabulous cocktail ring set with 50 sapphires interspersed with 31 single-cut and brilliant cut diamonds.

The ring is set in a bold ‘boule’ design, with the stones mounted close together in unmarked 18ct white gold setting. The sapphires have a slight variation in colour from a cornflower blue through to a deeper, more intense hue. The continuous blue of the sapphires is punctuated with flashes of brightness from diamonds.

The underside of the ring has an elegant pierced design leading to a slim shank. This is a fun ring on a dramatic scale which would look as good with jeans as it would with a cocktail dress.

Ring size: US 6.5 (M.5) but may be resized
