A truly remarkable pair of Victorian inspired convertible diamond cluster earrings set in 18ct white and yellow gold. The pair have a combined total diamond weight of 8.74 carats and are each composed of a larger central old European cut diamond surrounded by a further 9 old European cut diamonds. Both centre diamonds are a near-perfect match with one weighing 2.18cts and the other 2.14cts. They then have an estimated colour of I/J with VS1 clarity. Although set with superb diamonds that sparkle on the ear the real beauty behind these earrings lies in the craftsmanship. These earrings are in fact convertible and can be transformed from clusters to simple elegant diamond drops. This is done by a single pin fitting that slides through the drop and clusters. This pin near invisible and is fitted to the back of each earring. This clever design makes the earrings extremely versatile for a variety of occasions.
