An antique, blue zircon crescent brooch, set with nineteen, graduating round faceted blue zircons in grain settings, with two old-cut diamonds at each end, with one rub over set side and a knife edge on the other, mounted in silver-upon-gold, circa 1890.
Blue zircon was favoured in the Victorian period, dating from the 1880s.
