Victorian Antique 18ct Yellow Gold Drop Earrings with Diamonds and Blue Enamel

A stunning pair of Victorian 18ct gold earrings. Each earring is set with a single rose cut diamond within a star motif decoration formed of royal blue enamel, surrounded by a fine rope border which outlines the teardrop centre. Circa 1870.

The 18ct gold has a lovely buttery hue with a satin finish and has picked up a delightful aged patina. The hook wires with a ball detail are all original and in superb condition for the age.
