A unique antique Victorian book link chain, beautifully adorned with rose and yellow gold meadow birds, animals and insects. Each of 19 panels of the chain is decorated with a miniature meadow scene with birds, animals and insects applied in relief.

The Aesthetic movement necklace comes with an accompanying locket with its centre detailed with floral motifs bordered by a geometric pattern and beaded edge.

A rare and totally unique antique silver chain.
