Victorian Antique Moonstone Ruby and Diamond Cluster Ring

An early Victorian, mid 19th century, cluster ring. The central oval cabochon moonstone is elegantly surrounded by vibrant red ruby petals, all within an outer halo border of old-cut diamonds. Mounted in silver to 18ct yellow gold. Circa 1865.

Ring size: M (UK) / 6.5 (US), can be resized
Head dimensions: 16.5mm x 14.4mm
Metals: Tests as silver and 18ct gold
Hallmark: remains of a hallmark on the back of the band- typical of French jewellery but can not be confirmed
