Victorian Antique Etruscan Revival Pendant and Earring Suite

A striking and distinctive Victorian period Etruscan revival earrings and pendant set, beautifully hand fabricated by Montelatici Angiolo e fratelli , Firenze (1860/1880) bearing the original maker label active in Florence till 1880.

Beautifully crafted with richly detailed gold workmanship with flowery Pietra Dura composition.

Presented in the original, antique fitted case.

Metal: Tests as 18ct gold, assay on the earrings wires
Pendant dimensions: 41mm x 31mm (54mm x 31mm including bail), with oval hardstone mosaic of 28mm x 23mm
Earring dimensions: 2mm x 21mm (49mm x 21mm including wire fittings), with 2 round hardstone mosaics of 8mm diameter and 2 oval hardstone mosaics measuring 17mm x 14mm
Fitted case dimensions: 12cm x 8cm x 5cm
Gross weight: 7.2 grams
Condition: Very good, commensurate to age and use. Pendant probably originated as locket, but now does not have the glass or window to reverse, little dent on top of the locket bail
