Antique Blue Enamel Diamond Gold Snake Bangle Bracelet

A late 19th century yellow gold snake bangle, decorated with royal blue guilloche enamel, set with an old-cut diamond cluster to the head and a line down the neck, with cabochon-cut ruby eyes, gold teeth and a moving tongue. Further decorated with engraved gold foliate decoration on the nose, neck, body, hinges and tail end. The guilloche enamel represents scales. Mounted in gold. Circa 1860.
