A stylish Retro red gold diamond and ruby cocktail ring set with three brilliant cut diamonds of approx. 0.45ct, four single brilliant cut diamonds of approx. 0.12ct and six rubies, mounted in 18ct red gold. Circa 1945.

Diamond(s): Three brilliant cut diamonds with an estimated weight of 0.45ct.
Four single brilliant cut diamonds (also called 8/8) with an estimated weight of 0.12ct.

- All diamond weights, colour grades and clarity are approximate since the stones were not removed from their mounts to preserve the integrity of the setting.

Total diamond weight: approx. 0.57ct. (colour and clarity: F/G, vs/si).

Precious stones: Six rubies (lab produced) (also called verneuil ruby). The fact that these stones are lab produced has no influence on the value of this jewel. Natural rubies and lab produced rubies were both used in this era, rather more for their effect than for their intrinsic value. with an estimated weight of 0.90ct.

Hallmarks: No trace.
