Ruby and Diamond Bee Brooch

A beautiful handcrafted ruby and diamond bee brooch in 18 carat white and yellow gold. The bees thorax is composed of a rubover-set oval ruby within a halo of grain-set round brilliant-cut diamonds, the wings pave-set throughout with diamonds, with the abdomen composed of alternating rows of millegrain-set calibre-French-cut rubies and round brilliant-cut diamonds. The bee is further accented with yellow gold legs to contrast with the the white gold body. There is a total ruby weight of 0.38 carats; all are perfectly matched in colour. There is a total diamond weight of 0.38 carats, and these are estimated to be G-H in colour with VVS1 clarity.
