Retro Vintage 0.45ct Old Brilliant Cut Diamond Gold Shell Earrings

A pair of diamond set shell clip earrings, circa 1950. Each earring has an old brilliant cut diamond set in a white rub over collar to a stylized gold swirl. The bright diamonds are estimated to weigh a total of 0.45ct with I colour and Si1 clarity. On the reverse is a secure clip fitting and a post could be attached on request. There are no hallmarks however the metal tests as 18ct gold.
