Late Victorian Old Cut Diamond Fox And Hound Brooches

A beautiful pair of Late Victorian old cut diamond fox and hound brooches set in silver on gold. The set is comprised of two brooches which depict a running fox and hound. The brooches are set throughout with diamonds, each with it's own setting. Both fox and hound are accented with a ruby eye. The brooches are secured with a pin and clasp fitting plus a safety catch. Considering their age, they are in fantastic condition with all the original diamonds and fitted box! Whats nice about the pair is that they don't necessarily need to be worn together adding some variety. Included is a valuation for insurance purposes.
