Antique Georgian Gold Cannetille Garnet and Natural Pearl Brooch Necklace

Rare, late 18th century, 18ct yellow gold Cannetille work brooch come pendant necklace from the Georgian period. The fine elaborated work is elegantly shaped as a bow with a suspending drop further enriched by natural Persian pearls and Bohemian garnets. Made in Italy, Circa 1780.

Can be worn either as brooch or as necklace having a natural pearl string which can be arranged as necklace.

Principal garnet: approx. 1.30 carats
Stand of natural Basra pearls: ranging 3mm to 5mm in diameter
