Antique Georgian Chalcedony, Amethyst, Natural Pearl and Gold Cross Pendant

A striking Georgian cross pattée pendant. The central cushion shaped amethyst is nestled within a cluster surround of natural half seed pearls, in a delicate silver gilt and 15ct gold mount designed as individual flowers, leaves, scrolls and granulation. All within white scalloped chalcedony arms forming the cross. With an open wirework bail.

The back is decorated with wirework on embossed plates and there is a locket, containing fine woven hair.
