Georgian Antique 7.40ct Old Cut Diamond Day Night Drop Earrings

A stunning pair of diamond cluster drop earrings. These day and night earrings are adorned with 7.40 carats of old mine-cut and table-cut diamonds in closed-back settings. The pear-shaped diamond cluster drops can be detached from the diamond cluster tops to create a versatile pair of earrings. Mounted in silver upon 15ct gold, with later antique 18ct gold replacement post and butterfly fittings. Circa 1800.

  • Diamonds (60): approx. 7.40 carat total, H/I colour with VVS/I clarity (largest approx. 0.75 carats each)
  • Metals: Tests as 15ct gold (pin and butterfly tests as 18ct gold)

  • Dimensions: 71 x 17mm (both parts) / 17 x 11mm (tops alone)
  • Gross weight: 13.1 grams
