French Single Cut Diamond, Wood and 18ct Gold Ring

A French 18 carat yellow gold ring set with 18 round single-cut diamonds within gold ropework borders, flanked by mulberry wood shoulders.

This ring design was made by Van Cleef & Arpels and was known as the ‘Philippine’ ring.

Although this ring bears none of that House’s marks, it does show indications of having been resized, during the process of which any signature may have been lost.

• Stamped with the French owl poinçon.
• Gross weight: 3.84 grams
• Dimensions: 6.5 mm at its widest point.
• Ring size: M (US 6.25), may be sized up or down very slightly.
