French Retro 2.55ct Diamond, Gold and Platinum Bombe Ring

A very attractive French retro bombe ring of rounded design, two round brilliant-cut diamonds are mounted in an 18ct yellow gold dome accented with six ridges of platinum. Each platinum ridge is outlined by single-cut diamonds.

The workmanship in this ring is quite superb, with every stone mounting individually pierced, and despite its size, the ring is very comfortable to wear.

• The ring measures 2.3cm across and 1.8cm along the finger, and is 2.8cm in height.
• Round brilliant-cut diamond: (2), estimated 0.75 carats each
• Diamonds: 72 diamonds in total, estimated 2.55 carats in total, all clean and bright.
• Marked with the eagle’s head and the dog’s head poinçon for 18ct gold, platinum, and French manufacture.
• Maker’s mark has been partially stamped and is illegible.
