French 18ct Gold Nesting Bird Brooch with Citrine, Ruby, Sapphire and Diamond

An eye-catching French nesting bird brooch crafted in 18ct yellow gold. The brooch is predominantly set with a 13ct oval citrine which forms the main body of the nesting bird. The birds head has been designed with a hammered gold affect to give the impression of tiny feathers which is accented with a polished gold beak and a cabochon sapphire eye. The breast of the bird is pavé set with round brilliant cut diamonds, the tail and also the tip of the branch where the nest rests is also set with diamonds. The striking nest itself is handcrafted out of weaved gold pieces. Accented with cabochon rubies and sapphires depicting sweet little berries.
