Fine Art Deco Diamond and Platinum Mesh Cocktail Watch, 1920's

An Art Deco cocktail watch by Gattle, mounted in platinum, with a mesh strap edged with eight-cut diamonds, the watch has a silvered rectangular dial, with black Art Deco style Arabic numerals, signed Gattle, the face is surrounded by eight-cut diamonds, with two further rows of eight-cut diamonds, with a marquise-cut diamond set in the centre of each shoulder, with further diamonds set in the terminals of the straps, all settings are millegrain edged and the sides, crown and back are engraved.
