Edwardian Antique 1.16ct Sapphire and Diamond Three Stone Ring

A beautiful example of a sapphire and diamond ring from the early 20th century with a deep royal blue sapphire and sparkly diamonds. The centre stone sapphire is an elongated cushion cut sapphire that weighs 1.16ct that is flanked by two old cushion cut diamonds estimated to weigh a total of 0.80ct (I/Si1-2). The gemstones are claw set in platinum to an 18ct yellow gold mount with tapering shoulders.
