Early 20th Century 18ct Gold Ruby and Diamond Toi et Moi Ring

A very pretty and neat early 20th Century 18ct yellow gold two-stone ruby and diamond crossover or 'toi et moi' ring. This design was popular in the early 1900s and remains popular today. The diamond in this ring is an Old Mine cut, bright and clear with an estimated 0.20ctw. The ruby is bright with a pinkish-red hue and is also 0.20ct, with the addition of diamond shoulders to enhance the design. The French 'toi et moi' translated to 'you and me' traditionally make for fantastic engagement rings.
