Boucheron Vintage 18K Chalcedony and Onyx Bird Brooch, 1980s

A beautiful early 1980s Boucheron bird brooch set in 18k yellow gold.

This striking design depicts a perching bird and is composed of panels of polished yellow gold.

The grooves in the body of the bird are magnificent and create a beautiful effect once worn. The bird is accented with a pear cut chalcedony eye and an onyx beak which contrast nicely against the yellow gold. The brooch is secured to reference with a double pin and roller clasp fitting.
