A striking antique ruby and diamond marquise shaped cluster engagement ring. The central 0.42ct rich red ruby has the desirable vivid pigeon blood colour and is nestled within a navette-shaped old brilliant-cut diamond-set surround. Mounted in platinum. Circa 1920.
