Art Deco Diamond Cocktail Watch Platinum 1930s

A French, Art Deco diamond cocktail watch, set with old-cut diamonds weighing an estimated total of 10.00ct, mounted in platinum. Circa 1930's.

The rectangular silvered dial features black Arabic numerals, with blue steel hands and curved crystal. The millegrain edged surround is set with old-cut diamonds, in grain settings. The bracelet is set with old-cut diamonds, in an articulated openwork millegrain edged Art Deco mount, in platinum. The winding crown is set with diamonds on the top and around the sides.

The back of the case is marked with two French dogs' head marks for platinum. The inside of the case has two service marks: ABC 2/05 and 1A22661.

The movement is Swiss, by the Driva Watch Co., with seventeen jewels.
