Art Deco 1.15ct Natural Ruby and Diamond Double Cluster Ring

A stunning, early 20th century ruby and diamond cluster ring. The central octagonal-shaped step-cut natural Siam ruby is surrounded by a double border of old Swiss-cut diamonds. Mounted in a platinum crown with a decorative pierced under-gallery to an 18ct white gold band. Circa 1920.

Ruby: 1.15 carats, measuring 5.90mm x 5.04mm, natural and untreated with Siam origin.
Diamonds: approx. 0.60 carat total, G/H colour with VVS/SI clarity
Metals: 18ct gold (shank) and platinum (crown)
Hallmark: Assay for both 18ct gold and platinum
Ring size: L (UK) / 5.75 (US), can be resized
Head dimensions: 12mm
Gross weight: 4.0 grams
Condition: Very good, commensurate with age and use
