A Victorian coiled snake bracelet, with a woven gold body, with a carved head, set with a kite shaped diamond in the top, and ruby eyes. The tip of the tail is solid, with a very faint, modern, French owl import mark. Circa 1870. In Victorian symbolism the coiled snake symbolized eternity.
