Antique Victorian Sapphire and Diamond Two Stone Ring

A stunning, late 19th century, toi et moi ring set with an old-mine-cut diamond and natural sapphire. Mounted in 18ct yellow gold with beautiful rose-cut diamond-set split shoulders. Circa 1890.

Principal Diamond: approx. 0.80 carats, G colour and VVS clarity (6.3 x 5.2 mm)
Remaining diamonds: approx. 0.40 carat total (by spread)
Total diamond weight: approx. 1.20 carat total
Sapphire: approx. 0.60 carats
Metal: Tests as 18ct gold
Ring size: L (UK) / 5.75 (US)
Dimensions: 12mm (at widest point)

Condition: Good, commensurate to age and use. One prong of the side rose cut diamond is slightly worn but the stone is still safely held in place
